HDClone is the perfect tool for backups and for creating copies of entire software or operating system installations. Parallel mass copies and deployment. Creating up to 4, 8 or 16 clones in one run, depending on variant. Directly or from an image.
Perfect for production environments.A special SafeRescue mode makes HDClone Enterprise Edition an invaluable tool for rescuing defective hard disks and other media. HDClone Enterprise Edition works independent of partitioning scheme, file system and operating system. It also works with proprietary formats which would otherwise be inaccessible.
I purchased the Lollipop 5.0.1 last week. I just emailed asking for a link to this update. Thank you so much for offering the update for free!I am trying to install this to my laptop with Windows 8.1 and Mint 17.1 already on it. It uses UEFI boot.
I tried to install your 5.0.1 system from a USB stick as this laptop does not have a DVD drive. Booting the USB in legacy mode, the installer starts but doesn’t see my hard drive. Booting the USB in UEFI mode, the installer won’t start; once I select either Live or Install from the first menu, I just get a blank screen with a blinking cursor.I know that the main Android x86 project offers a.img file that works with UEFI.
They also suggest that you can just install to a different USB, then copy the installed system files onto your hard drive. Would that work with your system?

This system is so great! It’s worth $90 easily!
This 2-in-1 Inspiron was useless with Windows 8.1. And Mint doesn’t support rotation. I finally have a tablet that works great! Thanks! So I installed to USB stick, the USB stick works great. Then per the instructions from Android x86 project, I used Mint command line sudo cp to copy everything to an ext4 formatted partition.I modified my /etc/grub.d/40custom. My Andex partition is actually sda9, so I made that change to “(sda9)” and “set root=’hd0,msdos9′ “. The entry shows in the grub menu after doing a sudo update-grub.But I still just get a black screen when booting that entry.
I also use grub-customizer in Mint. This page discussed using grub-customizer to create an entry for Android x86:Thanks! This system is so great!
